Who is responsible
Handball Rivals is operated by Digital Marketing j.d.o.o., Otona Kučere 72, Petrinja, Croatia, the controller of your personal data. You can reach us through www.digital-marketing.hr.
Account and game information
We store your e-mail address, display name, account identifier, account creation and login times, date of birth and your consent choices. Your account is linked to your clubs, management decisions, progression, social connections and community activity. Sign-in uses login and refresh tokens; if you sign in through a linked provider, we also store that provider's identifier. Please do not put sensitive personal information in your display name or community posts.
Why information is used
We use account and game data to provide the game you ask for: signing you in, saving your progress and running your club in the shared world (performance of a contract). Age and consent information is used to apply age rules and record consent (legal obligation). Limited technical data helps us keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests). Website analytics and any other optional processing only happen with your consent and is never a condition of accepting the terms.
What other managers can see
Your display name, clubs, rankings, achievements and activity in public game spaces such as leagues, the news feed and the Hall of Fame are visible to other players. Messages in league or world chat and posts in associations are visible to the people in those spaces. Private messages are only shared with the recipient.
Service providers and transfers
The game runs on servers in Germany (Hetzner) and is delivered through the Cloudflare network. If you accept analytics cookies on this website, Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) processes usage data such as pages viewed, device and approximate location; we use it only for statistics, with advertising features turned off. E-mail delivery, app stores, sign-in providers and payment providers process data when you use those services, under their own terms and privacy notices. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Retention and account deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the game under Settings → Delete account. Deleting it removes your account and sign-in links and hands your clubs back to AI management. Shared sporting history, such as past results and tables, stays in the world without your personal details. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires it or to handle a dispute.
Children and advertising
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Players under 16 need the permission of a parent or guardian when they sign up, and personalised advertising cannot be switched on for them. If you believe a child has signed up without the required permission, contact us and we will act on it.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the legal conditions, you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the supervisory authority in your country; in Croatia this is AZOP (azop.hr).
